what we offer

We work with individual schools and academies, academy chains, Teaching School Alliances, families of schools, Local Authorities and educational charities.

Our work is bespoke, but we offer six starter projects to allow your school or academy to feel the benefits of engaging with rigorous research led or supported by trained educational researchers:

Starter projects

  1. Gaining rigorous student insight – find out more here

  3. Your students’ resilience and self-esteem – find out more here
  4. Maximising the opportunities of change of status – find out more here
  5. Making the most of the first 100 days of headship – find out more here
  6. How is your new initiative really working? – find out more here

We also offer larger scale bespoke projects that broadly fall into the three categories below – find out more here

Project Evaluation

  • We evaluate the efficacy of an existing intervention, helping to assess value for money and to justify further expenditure
  • Focus on practical recommendations to improve efficacy
  • Evaluations include attainment, but also social and whole-student criteria

Research Support

  • We trainĀ and support designated staff members to carry out bespoke action research to meet an identified challenge
  • Outcomes include a report with practical recommendations and interventions specific to your school’s circumstances
  • Staff members are trained to carry out further research with minimal support – a sustainable model

Bespoke Action Research

  • We design a bespoke project to meet a challenge you have identified
  • We undertake the work, deliver and disseminate the report
  • Outcomes focus on practical recommendations and interventions specific to your school’s circumstances
